SHIFT MANAGER

We are currently working with a world class 1st & 2nd Tier Automotive supplier who are looking for a hands on shift manager to join their dynamic team. The role reports directly into the Operations manager and as such the candidate will be expected to deliver set KPI's.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience within a 1st Tier environment and management of team(s), experience with plastic injection moulding and working within quality processes and procedures inline with TS16949 is also advantagous. The candidate will have to be able to work with little or no supervision and be able to " think on their feet " and make decisions that are in the best interest for their team(s). 

The candidate will be responsible for shift planning, shift start up and hand over meetings, ensure HSE is followed and risk assesments are conducted, developing a training program to mentor all team members, process planning, return to work interviews, and ensure that the company disciplinary procedures are fully adhered to.

Successful candidates must be educated to HNC / HND or degree level and must be computer literate.
