QUALITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER

We are currently working with a world class first tier automotive customer who is looking to recruit a Quality Systems Engineer, the role reports directly to the plant quality manager.

The role scope covers the following: to ensure that the quality systems & methods are implemented, updated & adhered to in all of the departments & in the production area(s), in line with the group policies & 3rd party standards.

The main responsibilities are:

• Develop & implement the systems in line with ISO / TS 16949:2002.
• Ensure the systems are adhered to by means of implementing a comprehensive internal audit plan & ensure that all internal corrective actions are closed on time.
• Ensure that there is a fully trained team of internal auditors available.
• Liase with 3rd party accreditation body for external audit preperations.
• Establish & control all budgetry systems for all audits required.
• Conduct work shops internally for basic tools & techniques in Poka Yoka, Control Inspection, Problem Solving, 5S, and continuous improvements.
• Ensure that all neccesary updates to policies, procedures and standards revisions are intergrated into the company systems.
• Support all launch managers to ensure that all the company quality systems are intergrated & adhered to in all new product introductions.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years minimum experience in an automotive 1st tier environment as a systems engineer. 
• Be certified as an internal lead auditor to ISO / TS 16949:2002.
• A good knowledge of regulations and standards.
• An analytical mind with a strong written and oral communications skills.
