We are currently working with a major 1st Tier Automotive supplier who are seeking to employ a Premises Co-Ordinator. The role reports directly to the Plant Managing Director and as such is a high focus role, the main responsibilities are to co-ordinate all internal & extrenal sub-contract activities for the site including pricing negotiations with service suppliers, to set & monitor preventative maintenance actions for all plant equipment, assist the safety technician in their role relevant with cooling towers / compressors / heating etc.
Other responsibilities include to support the safety officer as required, control & monitor the premises budget, be responsible for the site security system, co-ordinate overall plant layout efficiency improvements, supply 24 hour emergency contact relating to site security, and comply with all company policies & procedures ie health & safety, environment & quality.
The candidate will be expected to be educated with a recognised qualification in building services management, HNC in plant or building services management, and hold at least 2 years of mechanical engineering or plant room experience.
The candidate will also be reequired to be fluent in both German & English.
It would be advantagous if the candidate has experience in project management, budget control, technical equipment knowledge, building legislation knowledge, efficient management of contractors including negotiations & legionella precautions.
